Pump System Professional Certification (PSP)

The Pump System Professional Certification (PSP) program is designed to provide septic system installers with the knowledge and skills necessary to design, install, and maintain septic pump systems. This comprehensive certification program will ensure that certified professionals are equipped with the latest industry best practices and standards for septic pump system design and installation.

Program Overview

  1. Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the septic system installation field and possess a valid septic system installer's license or equivalent.

  2. Coursework: The PSP certification program will consist of a series of courses that cover various aspects of pump system design and installation, including:

    • Pump System Design Principles

    • Pump Sizing and Selection

    • Pump System Components and Control Panels

    • Float Setup and Adjustment

    • Pump System Installation and Maintenance

    • Troubleshooting and Repair

  3. Hands-On Training: In addition to the classroom-based coursework, participants will be required to complete hands-on training exercises that cover the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of septic pump systems.
