"The new NC rules for onsite wastewater systems (15 A NCAC 18E) contain many new provisions and the interpretation of the new rules present some challenges and opportunity to local health agencies, soil scientists, geologists, and professional engineers. Onsite Wastewater Professionals with guest presenters from the Environmental Health Section have been conducting a series of training for several months. The training has provided valuable information on the content of the new rules and set expectations for our future as onsite wastewater professionals."
